AZUROTE Independencia energética - Environmental and Energetic Management Systems by means of Distributed Systems

This study assesses the feasibility in using new techniques and algorithms for the identification and modelling of physical-environmental magnitudes and its processing for distributed actuation. The the aim is to get applications of energy and environmental distributed management in order to achieve better energy efficiency and environmental preservation.

The use of wireless communication technologies applied to networks with changing topologies can employ new distributed control algorithms that can be spanned to multiple fields. Among them it is of great importance the energy efficiency and environmental management.

To extend the usual processing techniques to distributed systems, we must address some critical feasibility issues of. This research attempts to evaluate the theoretical and practical issues that are critical in a future development involving wireless networks with distributed sensors and actuators. It also envisages to evaluate the performance of the algorithms, to define objective criteria, to quantify the results, as well as assessing economic viability of system.
